Clinical psychology deals with the treatment of severe mental illnesses or psychopathology (e.g. Schizophrenia, Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Neurodevelopmental Disorders etc.), serious life difficulties that cause debilitating distress to an individual, as well as assisting people who suffer with medical conditions.
A clinical psychologist is able to assess, diagnose, evaluate and treat mild to severe forms of psychological problems, as well as offer psychological support to those individuals who suffer with medical conditions that are affecting their mental health.
